Where is Toy Storage Ohio (TSO) located?
We are discreetly located minutes from downtown Cleveland and I-480 + I-77. TSO is just a short drive away from Sandusky to Painesville, from Lake Erie to Canton.
How does insurance work?
Car owners are responsible to insure their vehicles at their own expense from an insurer licensed and admitted in Ohio. All personal items must be removed from the cars prior to storage. It is imperative that you notify your insurance company of your storage arrangements with us. TSO assumes no liability for loss, damage or destruction of vehicle unless TSO has been proven to be at fault or negligent.
What is the minimum storage time?
Our minimum storage term is 6 months, payable in advance. Car owners are required to give TSO a minimum of 30 days’ notice for storage termination. You are welcome to remove your vehicle from storage during the life of the contract. However, you will be charged for the remaining time on the agreement.
When can I access my car during storage?
For 6-month customers between (October and May), there is no access. For 12-month customers, there is access with 48 hour notice.
How do I pay for my storage fees?
Fees are paid through credit / debit cards and checks.
How secure is your facility?
TSO is discreetly located and utilizes 24/7 surveillance, alarm and sprinkler systems with motion detectors, eliminating any possibility of damage or theft. You can’t put a price on peace of mind!
Do you offer car maintenance?
TSO offers the following services: fuel removal and disposal, battery preparation / disconnect and premium detailing services, from washes to paint restoration. Extensive maintenance would have to be performed outside the facility.
Can I conduct inspections if I am selling my car?
Car inspections would position TSO as a public storage facility instead of private, voiding your insurance policy.
Can I bring my own cover?
Yes. While we do our best to suppress dust, we highly recommend a high quality, breathable cover made for your car. TSO also has covers available upon request.
Can you store cars with special storage needs?
Yes. TSO has the expertise to accommodate every classic car.
How do you protect stored cars from moisture damage?
TSO’s climate-controlled, radiant heat venues prevent temperature / humidity fluctuations which can cause exterior and interior car damage. Our sealed and insulated roofs + walls with concrete floors treated with 2-part Epoxy make cars less susceptible to flooding, moisture, condensation and extreme weather conditions.
Do you have private garages?
TSO can accommodate groups of 60 cars in what is called a “safe room”. Once that room is filled up, the room goes into lockdown.
